Black maple meets ultimate sharpness - in a work of blacksmithing art that exceeds the highest ambitions: MIYABI BLACK 5000MCD67. 132-layer powder steel with a flower damascus pattern surrounds a powder steel core with an outstanding 66 HRC. Hand sharpened in the traditional Honbazuke honing process for a sharpness that is second to none. Rounded off by the deep black handle made of black maple in a classic D-shape: precisely balanced, each piece is unique. The Santoku knife is versatile and can be used for precise cutting of meat, fish and vegetables.
